Unlock Your Midlife
It’s time to create lasting fitness, health & happiness
If the hangovers are lasting several days, your gym routine involves going straight to the sauna, and you’re falling asleep halfway through telly night - you’ve come to the right place.
I’m Kerry McCarthy: personal trainer and health coach.
I work with people, like you, who have reached the point where they’ve realised sustainable lifestyle, fitness and health changes must be made in order to rebuild trust with their mind and body and maximise their quality of life.
Life has started to pass in a bit of an achey blur and it’s time to reassess and ensure you’re making the most of it.
That starts with feeling fitter, stronger, calmer, less stressed, and increasing the joy in your life through better movement, more energy and a sense of play.
How it Works
-

Start the ball rolling
Fill out my contact form with your information, or drop me a line with your details. I'll get back to you within 48 hours.
-

Book a free 1hr consultation
This can be done on the phone or video call, but I prefer to meet face-to-face so we can both get the best possible sense of each other and decide if we’re a good fit to work together.
-

Receive your bespoke plan
This will be built directly from what your body is telling us and will comprise workouts, nutrition advice, and any other intel regarding factors we’ve identified as important for you (e.g sleep hygiene protocols, recommended blood tests, further reading on areas of focus etc).
-

One-to-one coaching
Where the literal grunt work is done. This will be done at a gym, at your home, or an agreed outside space as is most appropriate. Prepare to enjoy yourself, grit your teeth, call me a git (under your breath please), and wonder at the blooming of new skills and confidence you didn’t know you had!
-

Establish new habits
We work together as a team to identify which bits are working, and what tweaks can be made. We then embed these new habits through repetition until they’re no longer something you have to work on, and are just a part of who you are now.
-

Feel great but stay vigilant
At this point we can either carry on together with new targets in sight; agree to take a break so you can go and contemplate how far you’ve come; or switch to a maintenance programme which is less structured with fewer 1-2-1 sessions, and offers periodic assessments to ensure that momentum is being maintained.
