Personal Trainer in South West London

My clients tend to be one, or some, of the following:

  • Very tired parents who realise how much they’ve compromised their own health and vitality in order to raise a family.

  • Stressed corporate executives or entrepreneurs.

  • Former active types sidetracked by life’s challenges who want to start looking to future - not past - sporting glories again.

  • People with lifelong sedentary habits who’ve had a wake-up call (perhaps a health scare or a warning from the GP).

  • Individuals who’ve experienced, or are experiencing, mental health challenges such as depression and anxiety, or who are struggling with perimenopause, and want to use the well-documented power of exercise to combat it.

  • People signed up for a sporting event such as a running race, charity bike ride, sponsored company 24-hour hike etc, and who are starting from a low base of fitness and confidence.

If you’ve found your way here, the chances are you’ve found yourself in similar situations too.

But now you’re ready to make changes that stick.

You’re done with trying new sports, gym classes, diet plans and miraculous media ‘health hacks’ that always seem impossible to stick to, or only give fleeting results.

You’re ready to stop using ‘I’m too busy’ as an excuse and get an accountability buddy so you can step forward and make the permanent changes that you know you’re capable of.

You know you need a trainer who is going to do more than leave you in a heap on the gym floor each week; someone to support you in-between times too. Someone to be your co-pilot.

Why work with me as your personal trainer?

I invest in getting to know you as well as I can. What makes you tick; what are your likes and dislikes; how does your life work and what can we do within that to make meaningful changes.

I share the responsibility, do the research for you, encourage, cajole, gently chide (only sometimes), laugh, relate, ask difficult questions, politely call you out on your own bullsh*t, applaud, celebrate, empathise and walk every step of your fitness journey with you.

In short, I am your wellbeing sherpa walking with you on the path to change your daily mantra from  ‘God, what now?’ to ‘Bring. It. On.’

How it Works

Fill out my contact form with your information, or drop me a line with your details. I'll get back to you within 48 hours.

    Book a free 1hr consultation

This can be done on the phone or video call, but I prefer to meet face-to-face so we can both get the best possible sense of each other and decide if we’re a good fit to work together.

    Receive your bespoke plan

This will comprise workouts, nutrition advice, and any other intel regarding factors we’ve identified as important for you (e.g new sleep hygiene protocols, recommended blood tests, further reading on particular areas of focus etc).

    One-to-one coaching

Where the (literal) grunt work is done. This will be done at a gym, at your home, or an agreed outside space as is most appropriate. Prepare to enjoy yourself, grit your teeth, call me a git, and wonder at the blooming of new skills and confidence you didn’t know you had!

    Establish new habits

We work together as a team to identify which bits are working, and what tweaks can be made. We then embed these new habits through repetition until they’re no longer something you have to work on, and are just a part of who you are now.

    Feel great but stay vigilant

At this point we can either carry on together with new targets in sight; agree to take a break so you can go and contemplate how far you’ve come; or switch to a maintenance programme which is less structured with fewer 1-2-1 sessions, and offers periodic assessments to ensure that momentum is being maintained.
